Vision, Mission & key focus areas

The ADEA Board has determined the following Vision, Mission & key focus areas for the 2011/2012 – 2016/2017 Strategic Directions for ADEA.

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association is the leading organisation for health professionals providing diabetes education and care

VISION

Optimal diabetes education and care for all people affected by, and at risk of diabetes

MISSION

To support and advocate for diabetes educators to deliver evidence based education and care 

Key Activities and Priorities
  1. Communication, information and networking
  2. Research and best practice
  3. Advocacy
  4. CDE credentialling, awareness and recognition
  5. Professional development and support
  6. Governance
