Art competition for the front cover of Australia’s health 2012 for artists located in Australia’s rural, regional and remote areas
The National Rural Health Alliance has a forthcoming joint project with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare – an art competition for the front cover of Australia’s health 2012.
It is the AIHW’s standard practice to obtain original artwork for their covers through an art competition but their special objective for the 2012 publication is to obtain the work from artists located in Australia’s rural, regional and remote areas.

A cash prize of $1,000 will be offered to the winning artist. The runner-up will receive a cash prize of $500. Other prizes include one highly commended prize of $300 and one commended prize of $200.
The competition closes 5.00 pm (EDST) Friday 6 January 2012.
