We are currently performing a system migration to a new member services and learning management platform to enhance your experience and appreciate your understanding as we implement these significant improvements.
We’re working hard to ensure the new platform meets your needs and delivers an improved experience. Your patience and support during this time helps us build a better platform that works for you.
During this transition period:
The new platform is expected to be operational in late November 2024.
If your membership is due during this transition period:
For members due for recredentialling or initial credentialling:
We understand this brief pause may be an adjustment, but it is a vital step to ensure that your information is securely transferred to the new platform.
We’ll notify you as soon as the new platform is live, ready to offer you a more seamless membership experience with improved features designed to support your professional journey.
The new platform is expected to be operational later this month (November 2024).
We will notify you as soon as the new platform is operational.
If your membership and/or credentialling is due for renewal during this transition to the new platform, there is no need to contact ADEA.
Your credential status will remain active, and you will continue to be registered with the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS).
You may continue working in your current capacity without any disruption.
During the temporary pause, you are not able to update your member profile.
Once the new platform is live, you’ll be able to manage and update your profile directly.
As our member platform is currently undergoing an upgrade, we ask that you wait until our new platform is live to process your payment.
Please be assured that your membership/credentialling status remains valid and you will not be penalised for any delays during this transition period.
You have the option to continue under the current pathway via a legacy approach or transition to the new Credentialling Pathway, which will be supported by the new platform.
This flexibility allows you to choose the option that best aligns with your progress and preferences.
The current pathway will be available until 31 October 2025.
After this date, members will no longer have the option to use the current pathway.
Why choose the new pathway?

What we need from you
To ensure a smooth transition, please follow these steps based on your decision:
Our LMS is temporarily paused as we transition to an improved LMS as part of the new platform.
Members who were enrolled in a microcredential or any other LMS course before the pause were kindly asked to complete their courses before the transition.
If you wish to enrol in a course, you will need to wait until the new platform launches to begin.
We’ve designed the new platform with your needs in mind—making it simpler to navigate, easier to find essential resources, and faster to complete tasks.
This innovative platform ensures a smoother, more user-friendly experience.
It includes our new credentialling pathway, which provides a modern, flexible approach that reduces barriers while maintaining high standards in diabetes education.
Additionally, we’ve streamlined the recredentialling process, making it easier for you to maintain your professional status and stay focused on delivering quality diabetes care.
Educational content will now be delivered through a new and improved learning hub, fully integrated with the member services platform.
Whether you’re enrolling in microcredentials, accessing learning materials, or exploring professional development opportunities, this enhanced platform brings everything together for a more seamless and streamlined learning experience.
The new platform will feature an enhanced Find a CDE function, offering improved visibility to healthcare providers and clients, making it easier for them to connect with you for diabetes education services.
You’ll have greater control over your membership experience with our new platform.
Easily manage your member profile, handle payments, and upgrade your membership—all from one place.
Plus, with enhanced login and security features, you can feel confident that your information is protected while you take charge of your professional journey at your convenience.
Powered by iMIS, a globally recognised leader in membership platforms, our new platform offers a secure and reliable experience.
We’ve carefully selected this platform to give you the best tools for supporting your professional growth and long-term success.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work to enhance your membership experience.
