Gihan is a credentialed Diabetes Educator since 2017 who has been working in chronic disease management for over 8 years, specifically in diabetes. Her services are designed to help people with diabetes gain knowledge and the skills to manage their diabetes and wellbeing. She is passionate about providing professional care and evidence-based diabetes education to teens (age 17+) and adults living with diabetes. Services offered include: • Diabetes education – Type 1 and Type 2 • Insulin commencement and ongoing management • Gestational diabetes – education and ongoing management • Blood glucose calculator meters – to assist with managing insulin • Blood glucose meters – provision, education and set up • Pre-diabetes Education and prevention
