‘Be Well with El’ – Offering services as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator/Accredited Practicing Diabetes Dietitian in the Bega Valley Region. ‘Be Well with El’ is a mobile service that operates from the referring medical practice, as well as offering Telehealth appointments. You can expect a professional, empathetic, one-on-one consultation, where I take the time to get to know you, understand your specific needs, and together we find practical solutions tailored to your specific requirements and ongoing education, monitoring and support. My mission is to help you to understand your diabetes and give you the tools to take control and provide you with the most up to date information on diabetes management. Medical rebate is available with a valid GP referral under the Chronic Disease Care Plan item. Medical rebate available to clients with appropriate level of cover SERVICES: Diabetes self-management education for people diagnosed with type 1, type 2, gestational diabetes, and impaired glucose tolerance Medical nutrition therapy Carbohydrate counting to support flexible insulin dosing and use of insulin pumps Instruction on insulin administration Home blood glucose monitoring Continuous glucose monitoring and flash glucose monitoring *Medication Advice
