ADEA's current member services platform is now offline for the transition to a new platform, launching later in November. Thank you for your patience as we improve your membership experience.

Join us on World Diabetes Day 2024 to shape the future of diabetes care

For World Diabetes Day 2024, ADEA is excited to share a sneak peek of our upcoming advocacy campaign: “Better Access = Better Care – A Credentialled Diabetes Educator in Every Community”.

Our vision is clear: every Australian living with diabetes deserves equal access to quality healthcare, no matter where they live or who they are.

This campaign champions ADEA’s key priorities to improve diabetes care—including expanded Medicare coverage, funding for multidisciplinary diabetes care teams, greater access to CDEs and allied health professionals, and harnessing technology to deliver CDE care to every corner of Australia.

It also builds on the recommendations of the recent Parliamentary Inquiry into Diabetes to improve access to diabetes education and care.

Together, we can amplify our voices and advocate for better access to Credentialled Diabetes Educators across the country.

Be part of the movement—because better access means better care for all Australians.
