Funding boost for people with diabetes

The Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd, and the Minister for Health, Nicola Roxon, on 31st March announced the allocation of $436 million to take pressure off our hospitals by delivering personalised care for people with diabetes.

As the leading organisation for health professionals providing diabetes education and care for people with diabetes, ADEA is currently working with Health Minister Roxon’s Office to bring the role of the CDE into current and future discussions.
